    What do we stand for at Massive?

    What does it matter? Don't we just open up at 7 and close at 5 and trust that customers will come in and find what they need, or call and have us deliver it?

    Well, I guess we do that, in a very literal sense. But what do we stand for?

    Before 'this stinking recession' (to paraphrase Preston Bailey who said it with a rather stronger adjective at Engage 09) really got started, we had about the whole team at Massive get together over a few meetings and a session off site to discuss just this point....what was our mission, what did we do and how did we aspire to do it. Its important for a company to do this, and we spent a lot of time working through the working, together with our vision and values. It needs updating, these things should not be static, and we are overdue for that....but its good to put it out there so that our readers, who we hope are or will be our customers, know what we stand for and the 'why' of our business.

    OUR MISSION: "We rent and sell equipment and provide allied service to contractors, homeowners, and the special events market. We are committed to excellent customer service, high ethical standards, top quality and innovative products at competitive prices. WE MAKE IT HAPPEN"

    We don't always succeed, we sometimes don't even come close, but this was what we all agreed that we would aspire to and we wanted you to know.
